Great image! It reminded me at first of Dorian Cleavenger's The Sanctum (NSFW!), which I mean entirely as a compliment. There is a great atmosphere to this, and excellent work on the props on the altar and the bones on the floor, too.

I am a big Luis Royo fan, from Dorian C. I don't know so many works. Thanks for the link, you're right, I understand why it reminds you at this image.:happybounce:
I had the idea from a book, but there it was an ugly old female orc shaman. No, I disagree!

Thank you for the compliment!Hi!

You're most welcome. I seem to remember reading a book called 'The Orcs' some time ago. Is this the one by Stan Nicholls?

Yeah, I think it was Stan Nicholls' book. It's not a book I would read twice now, but somehow I was inspired by it when I wanted to do something with this demon character and the chains.

It worked out very well! Nicholl's books didn't get the best reviews, and I cannot say I enjoyed it all that much myself, but it's great that it inspired you to do this image.

Inspiration is everywhere. ;) (Wink)

If I remember correctly, there was something similar somewhere in the book series "The Malazan Book of the Fallen".:-? (Confused)  Which is one of my absolute fantasy favourites.
